Salesperson - North America

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and carry out sales activities in assigned accounts or areas
• Develop additional market penetration in North America
• Generate and qualify leads in the region
• Develop sales proposals
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge in the fields of broadcast and data communication
• Proven record in market penetration
• Proven experience with distributors
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets
• Self motivated with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a team or autonomously

Pre and Post Sales Support

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical pre and post sales support.  
• Supporting evaluations and maintaining regular contact with customers.
• Helping identify the right products for the customers.
• Configuring NovelSat products at the customer and upgrading with new versions.
• Travelling to customer site for product demos and training.
• Helping customers resolve technical issues.
• Developing customer-facing documentation for our products on an as-needed basis.
• Communicating customer needs and requests to the R&D

Requirements:

• Strong customer orientation
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical orientation.
• Satellite communications  knowledge.
• Fluent English. Additional languages  - an advantage.
• Excellent telephone mannerisms.
• 2-3 years previous experience in a technical support role and working with customers.

Senior Sales Executive – North America

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving sales in the US and Canada
• Proactively initiating contact with relevant prospective clients
• Maintaining contact with prospects and funneling them towards a sale

• Proven experience as a Senior Sales Executive that delivers results
• Sound knowledge of and proven sales experience in the Satellite Communications industry, especially in the areas of Broadcast and Data Communications

• Managing all QA activities for NovelSat’s products.
• Management of:
  •  Product validation activities (help R&D with new product testing).
  • QA/validation lab.
  • A team of QA Engineers.

Requirements:

• Experience of 4+ years in managing QA activities of products that include HW, RF, SW and ASIC/FPGA.
• Relevant university degree.
• Video and / or network protocols knowledge - an advantage.
• Qualisystem (QA SW tool) experience - an advantage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Real Time SW engineer for communication systems.
• C/Linux programming.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in RT embedded systems.
• Strong in C programming language.
• B.Sc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a known university (GPA above 80).
• RT embedded programming experience.
• Experience in Linux – an advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools rapidly.

VLSI Design Engineer

Key responsibilities include:

• Design of high performance ASIC and FPGA (includes various design types - communication physical layer, control logic, interfaces etc.)
• Full design flow responsibility / involvement:  definition, architechture, RTL coding, verification, synthesis / STA and lab testing.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a known university.
• Communication and signal processing experience/knowledge – an advantage.
• Matlab, Verilog, Quartus experience – an advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent follow-through, motivation, and persistence.
